Summer Reading Programs

Athens Municipal Library 

Registration begins May 28th and ends June 5th!


Barnes & Noble

Read 8 books, Get 1 FREE!!

Read 8 books this summer and record them in the Barnes and Noble Summer Reading Imagination's Destination Journal (can get at B&N).  Bring your completed journal into a Barnes and Noble store between May 21st and September 3rd, 2013.  Choose your FREE reading book from the Book List provided on the Reading Journal.


Petersburg Public Library  

The reading program begins on Tuesday, June 4th with sign-up and continues through Friday, July 12th.  Prizes, reading, and crafts!!

Rochester Public Library

Pack your bags and take a vacation to the Rochester Public Library for our "Have Book - Will Travel" Summer Reading Program!  Sign up begins Monday, May 20th.  Children ages 3-11 will receive a library bag for their books, a reading goal sheet, a pencil, and a bookmark.  We ask that you read 30 days this summer.  For every five days you read, come to the library to receive a prize!  Please return reading goals sheets by July 27th.  Teens (ages 12-18) are asked to also read 30 days and for every 5 days you read, come to the library and put your name in for a prize drawings at the end of the summer!


Sherman Public Library

Summer Reading Program begins June 6th at 1 p.m. at Sherman United Methodist Church community Room!


Lincoln Library

A Summer Reading Program for kids, teens, and adults begins June 1 through June 27, 2013 at Springfield's Lincoln Library.  For more information go to their link here.
